Ep 129: Discipline and Devotion, then Magnetism
Discipline can have negative connotations, but it is a necessary part of our spiritual journey and evolution. When we commit to doing something—like a new healthy habit or a daily meditation practice—discipline is required to make that happen. Dedicating ourselves to create a new pattern is how we release old habits and establish new ones. Eventually, at least in my experience, discipline turns into devotion. The daily meditation practice may not require discipline, except occasionally, because you are so devoted to showing up for yourself and connecting with your Soul that you wouldn’t dream of missing a day of your practice. And through discipline and devotion, we generate magnetism—an energetic state in which everything you are creating is done so with ease, grace, and flow. That’s not to say that we don’t have to work hard for what we desire and for our intentions, but we meet fewer roadblocks and hit fewer walls in a state of heightened magnetism. Through discipline, devotion, and clear intentions, you create magnetic energy that allows you to manifest the life your intuition shows you in those moments of silence when you listen deeply to your Soul.
